Youth Builder Community Development Corporation is committed to helping young people gain the confidence, skills, mentorship, and real-world experience needed to build successful futures. Through entrepreneurship, technology, workforce development, and hands-on learning, we provide youth with opportunities to discover their talents, develop practical skills, and prepare for life, business, and career success.
In 2025, Youth Builder Community Development Corporation expanded its reach and served 25 new youth, helping them grow through training, mentorship, business development, digital skills, and community-based support. Our work is rooted in one belief: when young people are given access to the right tools, guidance, and encouragement, they can create a future filled with purpose and possibility.

New Programs Launched in 2025
In 2025, Youth Builder introduced five innovative programs designed to equip youth with modern skills, entrepreneurial opportunities, and career exposure.
VR Program
The VR Program introduces youth to immersive technology training and hands-on learning experiences. Through virtual reality, youth can explore technical skills, workforce pathways, and career possibilities in a way that is interactive, engaging, and future-focused.
Drone Program
The Drone Program gives youth exposure to aviation, technology, drone operation, and emerging career fields. This program helps youth build confidence with technology while developing an understanding of how drone skills can be used in business, media, public safety, construction, and future workforce opportunities.
Mentorship Program
The Youth-Led Mentorship Program was created and led by our Youth Director. This initiative allows older youth to guide, encourage, and support newer participants. Through peer mentorship, youth develop leadership skills, accountability, communication, and a stronger sense of community.
AI Creation Program
The AI Creation Program introduces youth to artificial intelligence tools and digital creativity. Participants learn how technology can be used for content creation, business development, marketing, design, and problem-solving.
Printing Program
The Printing Program teaches youth the full business cycle, from production to sales. Participants gain hands-on experience in printing, design, customer service, pricing, inventory, marketing, and business operations. This program allows youth to see how a real business works while building practical skills they can use immediately.

Young Entrepreneurs Launching Businesses
In 2025, two youth launched online businesses, including Milanaikens.com, an online boutique, and elkclothing.co, a fashion-forward apparel brand. These accomplishments show how youth can turn creativity, training, and mentorship into real business opportunities.
Hair Braiding Business Success
One young mother started a home-based hair braiding business that generated income to help support her family. With the skills and confidence gained through Youth Builder, she was able to purchase clothes for herself and essential items for her newborn baby. Her story reflects the power of entrepreneurship to create independence, dignity, and stability.
YouTube Content Creators
Two sisters in the program launched their own YouTube channel, gaining experience in digital media, content creation, communication, and online branding. Through this experience, they began developing valuable technical and creative skills while learning how to build an online presence.
Youth-Designed Website Launch
One of our youth participants designed and developed the Youth Builder Community Development Corporation website. This accomplishment demonstrates the real-world application of the skills youth are learning through our programs. It also shows that young people are capable of producing professional work when they are given the right training, mentorship, and opportunity.
Community Impact Initiatives
Luggage Drive for Foster Youth
In 2025, Youth Builder launched an ongoing luggage drive to support young adults transitioning from foster care. Many youth aging out of the foster care system leave with their belongings in trash bags. Our luggage drive helps provide dignity, stability, and practical support as they begin their journey into independence.
Through this initiative, Youth Builder is helping young adults feel seen, valued, and supported as they take important steps toward adulthood.
Funding and Support
In 2025, Youth Builder Community Development Corporation received $44,000 in total support, including grant funding, equipment donations, and in-kind donations.
This support included:
- $24,000 in grant employee funding
- $10,000 in equipment donations
- $10,000 in in-kind donations
These resources helped strengthen our capacity, support program delivery, and expand opportunities for the youth we serve.
Partnerships and Growth
Youth Builder Community Development Corporation continues to build partnerships that expand access, increase opportunities, and strengthen outcomes for youth. In 2025, we focused on developing new sponsorships and collaborations that will help us grow our programs and serve more young people in the coming year.
Our goal is to create a strong support network around youth through schools, community partners, court systems, businesses, mentors, and sponsors. Together, we can help prevent young people from falling through the cracks by surrounding them with opportunity, dignity, guidance, and hope.
Looking Ahead to 2026
In 2026, Youth Builder Community Development Corporation will continue expanding all five new programs launched in 2025. Our focus will be on increasing youth participation, strengthening program structure, expanding partnerships, and creating more pathways into entrepreneurship, technology, workforce development, and leadership.
Our 2026 goals include:
- Fully implementing and expanding all five new programs
- Serving more youth through hands-on training and mentorship
- Growing the printing and business training program
- Expanding VR, drone, and AI learning opportunities
- Strengthening partnerships with schools, court systems, and community organizations
- Increasing sponsorships and funding support
